When Mark’s corporate catering company was temporarily closed because of the Covid-19 lockdown, he had to get creative.

With the help of his daughter, Amy, the duo started brainstorming ways to make use of the empty commercial kitchen and chefs without anything to bake. The duo soon set their sights on ready to bake cookie dough, launching The Dough Co.

It took them 6 months to perfect the flavours, but once they did, they were a runaway success. The duo started selling out at Farmer’s Markets and became a cult favourite, garnering attention from Broadsheet, Concrete Playground, The Daily Mail and voted as one of the best cookies in Melbourne by UrbanList.

They are now in 30+ stores Melbourne wide and can’t wait to continue spreading the joy of freshly baked cookies!
